“These violent delights have violent ends…”
There’s violence out on the streets. Passions collide. And the world changes in an instant. Experience Shakespeare’s darkest love story up close, intense, and in the round. Following the success of previous Shakespeare Up Close productions, we’re back with a brand new take.
A small cast of multi-roling actors bring Shakespeare’s language to life in a fast paced and explosive production.
Ideally suited to Years 9, 10 and 11, this 90 minute abridged version of the play uses only Shakespeare’s language, combined with a contemporary setting. Clear storytelling makes it accessible for students at any stage of studying the text in class.
